I'm attending Columbia University for degrees in psychology and computer science and statistics. I've three years of tutoring experience working with middle school and high school level students. I've had the opportunity to tutor a broad array of subjects, but I enjoy tutoring computer science, mathematics, and statistics the most. I didn't realize much I loved the subjects until studying them in college. In fact, I was originally pre-law. I wish I'd known how fun these topics can be when I was younger. Many students believe they are not good in math, and it comes naturally to others. The fact of the matter is that everybody has an unique learning style, and often math hasn't been taught to them in the way they learn best. There's nothing greater than helping the students work through their learning obstacles and achieve success. My goal is to create students who are strong in STEM understanding and confident in their abilities to succeed.
