Hi! I am Madeleine, and I reside in the New York City area. I am a Swarthmore College graduate, where I earned my bachelor's degree in English Literature and American History. While working on my degree, I was a tutor for other students, assisting them with developing their writing skills for several years. In this environment, I worked with students on an individual basis to assist them in discovering the writing process. I firmly believe that every student possesses the ability to write as long as they have faith in what they learn. I most enjoy teaching English literature, but also tutor writing, essay editing, college essay writing, and English. I'm also available to assist with test prep for SAT writing, verbal skills, and critical thinking; and AP English literature composition and English language composition. In my free time, I like volunteering for causes in my community, and I enjoy reading and cooking.
