Private tutor in New York, NY
Harvard University - A.B. , Molecular and Cellular Biology
I hold a degree from Harvard where I majored in molecular and cellular biology and minored in government. I have a tremendous amount of tutoring experience dating back to high school, and have participated in multiple training programs to enhance my ability to deliver targeted and exceptional instruction to clients in a variety of curricular areas including Math, Science, and Spanish. The approach I have found to be most successful is training learners to deconstruct a challenge - breaking it down into manageable parts and looking for patterns upon which to rebuild the information so it is understandable. My tutoring competency extends to preparing students to sit for many of the standardized tests required in the college application process including the SAT and LSAT as well.My personal interests extend to ethics, public policy, music, and food. I currently apprentice for a charity and read political narratives when time allows. In particular, issues pertaining to global health and equity are the most intriguing to me. Finally, on a lighter note it is my aim to one day be a contributor to a directory on the subject of pastry shops in New York.

In my free time, I enjoy reading political memoirs, listening to live music, and exploring new restaurants, and I hope to one day contribute to a comprehensive guide of bakeries in New York.
