After completing undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. With an eventual goal of attending medical school, my next step academically is to satisfy pre-med coursework obligations. Along with my biochemistry focus, I minored in Mandarin Chinese. This gave me a strong background in tutoring this foreign language. My teaching experience includes working as a private tutor for high school students attending classes in New York City. Schools in the city offer intense curriculums that can challenge even the most talented student. As a former New York City student, I understand the demanding curriculums and intense testing these students must undergo. This insight is an invaluable aid for current students who gain an upper hand with the expert first-hand advice I'm able to give them. While I am particularly passionate about tutoring math, chemistry, and biology, I'm adept at tutoring a wide sweep of disciplines. As a teacher, students find me passionate, focused, and happy to share the vast knowledge I've acquired over the years. When I have free time available, I spend it preparing to run half marathons, reading, and visiting my family in Italy.
