I want all of my tutoring students to succeed. However, I know that means something different for each of my students, and I want to work with each person to tailor my style as a tutor to their needs. With a bachelor's in Political Science from Harvard, then a master's in Business from Yale School of Management, I have the discipline and drive to lead my students to higher grades and better test scores. While in college, I spent all of my weekends working with high school students at top schools in Boston, helping them write personal essays and do other college prep, like studying for standardized tests. I also helped them learn the business interview process, so when they graduated from college, they could land a great job, too. As a master's student at Yale, I also helped students the year behind me understand the Strategy and State & Society courses, the core classes for business degrees. I am passionate about a diverse range of tutoring subjects, from finance and economics, to standardized test preparation, to public speaking and writing. All of these areas help students succeed, not just with higher grades, but with personal understanding of their own strengths.
