Experience
I graduated from Binghamton University with a double major in Economics and Mathematics. After graduation, I gained a great deal of experience in teaching students in a wide range of different settings. I love to teach, but I have a true passion for learning. I strive to share and inspire this passion in each of my students. I'm able to work with students on subjects from the basics of elementary-level math to the intricacies of advanced calculus. Whether working in an after-school program with students from third graders to seniors in high school or teaching SAT and SAT II prep classes, I've always tried to act as a mentor as well as a teacher. I work hard to personalize each student's tutoring experience, and do my best to build a rapport. Throughout these years, I have found the most satisfying moments to be the ones in which students find confidence in their skills and are able to tackle new problems fearlessly. I am proud when I can help a student gain a new perspective on school and their studies, and it's great to see them work that much harder to achieve their goals. During my spare time, I really like to play guitar, read novels, take in a good movie, or watch an exciting football game.
