I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology from Morehouse College. After a few years, I came back to college at the University of South Carolina. This is where I received my PhD in clinical community in psychology. I am currently working as an intern at the Boston Medical Center.I have experience teaching elementary and middle school students in math. I also have experience teaching older students statistics, how to write college essays, and how to speak in public. I also teach upper level math, English, social sciences, and test preparation. I believe that writing is an important part of college classes, and I teach students both the APA and SPSS writing style. I tutor college students to better their writing, as this can help them get through graduate school. My teaching style involves first learning what the students are best at. I then develop my teaching style around them. I work to build up their confidence in the subject material that they are struggling with. My main goal is to make sure that my students thoroughly know the subject matter when I finish tutoring them.In my spare time, I enjoy riding bikes, traveling, and pop culture.
