I got my start as a tutor years ago when I worked as an Arabic teacher's assistant at a language camp in my area. Ever since that time, I have been involved in academia and education in some way, finally earning my master's degree from Princeton University in near eastern studies. I also volunteered teaching English composition to other students while attending university. After completing this degree, I moved to New York, where I now live.As a tutor, I specialize in subjects like writing, essay editing, math, social studies, English, American history, reading, and grammar. I can also assist students with their SAT and PSAT preparation, as well as provide summer tutoring.Whenever I'm not teaching or tutoring, I spend my time enjoying the city, going for coffee, reading up on current events, learning about the Middle East and its politics, listening to music, cooking, watching movies, and exploring history books. I believe that clear communication is key when teaching and make it a priority during every tutoring session.
