I enjoy teaching science and watching students grasp and come to love the subject. I've studied all subjects of science as I worked through the Post-Baccalaureate Pre Med program at the University of Vermont. I have also tutored middle school through undergrad students in different sciences and elementary and middle school students in math subjects.My main tutoring focus is in Biological Sciences or Chemistry. I have also helped students with preparation for the MCAT. When I tutor on test preparation, I work with the student on understanding the content as well as how to look at each problem with confidence. Once that skill set is built and confidence comes into play, the testing process can be done more effectively. I also tailor each of my tutoring sessions to the specific student, learning style, and overall goal. This way we can work through the weaknesses and build forward with confidence to achieve the student's goals. I will work with you throughout this process. My tutoring experience specifically includes anatomy, biology, general chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, and physiology. My hobbies include power lifting, running, being outside, cooking, traveling, and enjoying music and books.
