Experience
I grew up in Philadelphia and went to York University in Toronto, Canada. After graduation, I spent 4 years living in Bangkok, Thailand, teaching English while working as an ESL teacher, a private tutor, and a kindergarten teacher. Besides having homeroom and department head responsibilities, I also worked with individual students as an English and Math tutor. I like working one-on-one with students because I feel I am better able to address their individual needs, and I enjoy teaching students at all levels, from elementary school to college. I have taught Math, Writing, Reading, and Phonics to younger students, and ESL to college and business students. I am currently enrolled at Wagner College in graduate studies. I am available both during the school year and over summer break to help you or your student in a variety of courses, including Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Literature, American History, World History, Government, and many others. I can assist you with your study skills and organization, and I am an experienced ESL/ELL teacher. When I am not studying or teaching, I enjoy dance, poetry, and music. I am also putting together an album of music for children.
