Experience

My name is Rachel, and I've 10 years of experience as a tutor. I went to George Washington University for my undergraduate degree in psychology. I'm now attending New York University as a graduate student. My tutoring experience includes working in charter schools, and setting up my own volunteer tutoring program for middle school students in Harlem. I had the opportunity to be a research assistant at Columbia University, and I was able to help develop math software for education. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in algebra, elementary and middle school math topics, statistics, trigonometry, geometry, biology, psychology, English, essay writing and editing, literature, reading, comparative literature, and standardized test prep for the Regents exams, SAT, and others.
