Before I even knew realized I was doing it, I was tutoring others in their studies. As a successful high school student, I often helped my brother study in subjects he didn't understand particularly well. Peer tutoring at Harvard University fueled my further interest in helping others understand knowledge what came naturally to me in a first-year required course with computer technology. Skills developed further, and my communication and understanding grew. My interest in teaching and serving others continued, and I worked as a U.S. Navy officer to deepen my leadership skills through positive encouragement and clear, decisive communication. Upon completing my service, I continue to tutor, alongside pursuing an entertainment career. Performing enables me to bring light-heartedness and humor to my GMAT and SAT tutoring sessions with students. I have worked with individuals of all different backgrounds in many different fields and experiences, which only adds to my abilities in teaching others. Cheering on the individuals I tutor fulfills me; success is my end goal with everyone I tutor. By the way, my first student took my turned out pretty good; now my brother is a proud Naval Commander.
