I attended New York University to earn my bachelor's degree in history. I also minored in chemistry and was recognized cum laude. I'm currently performing neuroscience research for a year before moving on to medical school. I have a broad base in the humanities and the sciences, so I can tutor a wide array of topics. I'm adept at explaining concepts in a number of different ways to help students understand them successfully. My greatest strength is a teacher is my ability to understand the perspectives of my students, and then the customize my approach to match that. I believe any student can learn any topic given the proper time and a mentor who is willing to explain things in a way that makes sense of them. I will do whatever I need to do to help my students be successful. I can tutor students in algebra, physics, history, geometry, Italian, social studies, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, literature, and others. I can also help students prepare for the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and the MCAT. When I have some free time, I enjoy reading, playing chess, and spending time with my cat.
