Experience

I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a double major in Psychology and French Literature, and was a founding member of Pi Delta Phi,  the French National Honor Society. Pursuant to a Clinical Psychology PhD, I am now in the Psychology MA program at The New School in New York City. I started as a tutor in grade school, and seeing a student's visible grasp of new material inspired continued tutoring opportunities in the years since in various subjects from introductory courses to AP calculus, as well the SAT and other prep and entrance exams. I mentored many people in essay construction and context, as well. I am fascinated with learning, helping others excel, and am focused on discovering what learning routines glean the best results for adults and children alike. I look forward to applying that determination to teaching subject matter in efficient and enduring ways for improved comprehension of all subjects. In my off time I enjoy French, horseback riding, and adventures with friends.
