Private tutor in New York, NY

Tufts University - BA, Philosophy, French-Double Major

I truly love working with students, and have found being a tutor to be one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever done. I like to personalize lessons with all of my students, because I know they are all unique learners. I especially love to help students who are having difficulty understanding French. I spent a year in Paris while I was in college, so I am well-versed in the French language. I worked with students learning English while in France, and American students who wanted to improve their French, so I have a background in working with students learning opposite languages. I also enjoy teaching SAT subjects to my students, and despite the challenge it can sometimes be, I feel it comes with many rewards.I offer tutoring in Grammar and Mechanics, Literature, Reading, Writing, French, English, and Languages. I can also help students prepare for tests such as SAT Math and Critical Reading; ACT English and Writing; GRE Verbal and Quantitative; PSAT Critical Reading and Mathematics. I am a graduate of Tufts University, where I earned my bachelor's in Philosophy and the French Language. In my free time, I love to read, as well as write, and play my cello.
