I think education should be fun. It's exciting to learn new skills and utilize one's creativity to innovate. When I work with students, I focus on helping them build a solid understanding of concepts. This helps them apply their knowledge in school and in the future. I like to help students develop critical thinking skills, so they are challenged to think about concepts and scenarios in my sessions. I also explain concepts by relating them to applications of them in the real world. I've 10 years of experience as a teacher, and this is allowed me to provide my methods and help students learn efficiently and effectively. Many of my students have been successful in improving their grades and test scores. I also have been able to help students actually like the subjects they are learning, inspiring them to pursue careers in STEM. I want students to be engaged while they learn so that they stay motivated. Ultimately, my goal is to help students realize their full academic potential. In my free time, I enjoy graphic design, poetry, photography, and travel.
