Experience

My name is Andrew. I am a bilingual tutor in New York.  I am fluent in both English and Spanish. My tutoring and teaching career started in 2006. Since then, I have taught multiple test prep classes and tutored in various subjects. If you are looking for help in multiple areas you have come to the right place. I tutor in math, Spanish, and economics. I can also help you prepare for the ACT, SAT, and high school admission exams. My favorite subject to tutor is math. I understand that each student solves problems differently so I incorporate multiple problem-solving techniques in my teachings. Math is all about problem solving, so I encourage my students to analyze the problem-solving process. I have an extensive educational background. I earned my bachelor's degree in Arts and Economics and Latin American Studies, along with a Master in Economics and Public Policy from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico City, Mexico. My master's program was conducted entirely in Spanish, so I am confident in working with students from many backgrounds. When I am not tutoring or teaching classes I enjoy playing golf, exploring New York City and Zumba.
