I’ve worked as a professional writer and editor for the past eight years—in journalism, publishing, marketing, teaching, and production. I was a Brooklyn Library Homework Helper for five years, worked as an au pair in Paris, and have held a spattering of tutoring jobs over the years. As the Executive Editor of a small publishing company that packages reference books for the New York Times, I managed an editorial team, researched, and created original content. As the head editor of Off Track Planet, a travel site that now has thousands of unique visitors each month, I sculpted our writing team into one that produces on-brand content. I was also a reporter for a Brooklyn weekly for several years. Additionally, my work has appeared on several editorial websites, a spattering of local publications, The World Almanac, The World Almanac for Kids, The Huffington Post, Matador Network, The Rag literary magazine, and as a Glimmer Train contest finalist.
