Experience
My previous experience has largely consisted of helping adults copy-edit and hone their work. I've done many writing projects that encompass scripting, reporting, academic, advertising, marketing and storytelling. I've written for live broadcast and live performances. The key to good writing is a strong point of view, no typos or grammatical errors, and plain, simple, even beautiful wordsmithing. I believe I can help others develop a method and style which will serve them well for essays, college applications and in the real world where good writing skills are in short supply. I've taken classes in journalism, storytelling, and have completed a Masters degree. I currently write and edit for an academic newsletter called "Victimization of the Elderly and Disabled" and I've also written for the Huffington Post. While at UNICEF I wrote at least three stories per week for the web, and copy edited many more.

Reading is an obvious one. I love to read and find reading bolsters my writing. I engage online in communities devoted to women's issues, television shows and pets. I do volunteer work with animals. I write, shoot and edit video as a hobby as well as in my career. I love Shakespeare, comedy, drama and the theater.
