Experience
I tutored students in writing and English extensively as an undergraduate and graduate student. Moreover, I have worked extensively with students studying English as a second language. In my professional life in finance, I was a director of equity research with a Russian investment bank and spent significant time teaching Russian analysts how to write in English and structure logical and compelling arguments. I also have significant editorial experience and now work as a financial writer/analyst and creative writer. I very much enjoy helping students improve their writing, and am interested in tutoring at the moment as I am currently engaged in finishing a novel and prefer not to take on more projects in finance. Tutoring is enjoyable and rewarding as well as less time consuming.
