I am currently working on my Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Education at Queens College. I am a senior enrolled in the teacher certification program. My GPA is 3.7, being one of top in my class.
Experience
I have a great deal of tutoring experience. I tutored many students in Math before and they had show great improvement due to my tutoring skills. I also worked in after-school program where I assisted and helped students with their homework in every subject area. I also prepared lesson plans and taught to student. I am currently hired by Newton Institute to work with students after-school, and provide enrichment activities and lessons for the students. I am currently a student teacher in a New York City Public school, where I prepare lesson plans and teach based on the New York State curriculum.
