At Children's Hospital Colorado, I worked closely with children affected by HIV/AIDS, tutoring them on various scholastic subjects (K-8), and also helped them to create effective systems of organization. Similarly, as a member of the National Honors Society, I tutored a number students at my own school and neighboring in history, english, creative writing and organization to aid them in getting of academic probation. For the last two years I have tutored a high school student with learning challenges three times per week in subjects of english, history, science, and math. I am excited about the prospect of becoming a tutor for your child as I hope to help make a difference in their academic experience! I truly believe in the power of knowledge, and the acquisition of knowledge through individualized study. I am passionate about the well-being of both the mind and body, using exciting techniques to find your child's interest in their respective subject to help them discover their own academic fervor.
