I have tutored students in my school and in my church at least once a week for 5 years now. I prefer to teach through examples and by relating abstract ideas and concepts to common experiences that my students share. I am passionate about math, science, and engineering and hope to use my skills and knowledge to become a doctor in the near future. In the last two years I've traveled to Kenya, India, and Egypt on service trips. There I saw what people truly in need look like and have decided to commit my life to serving the people in the world with the poorest access to health care. I have a strong desire to help those around me succeed and excel and will always go the extra mile for a student.
