I was a volunteer tutor throughout high school, working with younger kids on the weekends in a variety of subjects. At college I continued working with younger students, volunteering at a local bilingual (Spanish and English) elementary school. For the past 6 years I've been teaching to tennis to students of all ages, both as a counselor and instructor at a camp and also through private lessons in which I worked one-on-one with the client.

I have a wide variety of interests, some of which I've been able to further pursue in my studies while others I indulge mostly on my own time. I enjoy art, particularly architecture, watching movies, and reading books. Food has been a longstanding passion of mine, both in terms of eating and cooking. I've been an avid sports fan for most of my life, especially soccer, football, baseball, and tennis. I played soccer and tennis growing up and continued with the latter through college.
