Ni Hao (你好，Hi), Let's have fun and learn more than just the Chinese:) Because learning a language is a process of learning another culture. I am a native Chinese speaker, and always love to share Chinese culture with others, including but not limited to Chinese language, calligraphy, origami, food, music, poem, slang, Kongfu. I am proficient in both Chinese and English speaking, reading, and writing. Back to my undergrad study in UO, I was a Chinese tutor for several American students (from Basic to Advanced level) and served as the only Chinese peer advisor in business school. Now, I'm studying translation in NYU, not only do I keep studying and learning about the culture connotations between the two countries, but also I realize how much I love sharing this beautiful language with English speakers and putting what I have learned in translation into teaching Chinese.
