Experience
I began tutoring as a freshman in high school. I partnered with Julia Green elementary to help students of K-4 levels. I also worked at Kumon learning center from '10-'13 helping kids from K-8 levels. I have tutored in math science, English/language arts, French, Chinese, writing, and study skills. President of Peer Tutoring club at Harpeth Hall '10-'14 Salutatorian of senior class CHP (college honors program) student at MMC ACT: 31 AP Art History: 5 AP Microeconomics: 4 AP English Literature and Composition: 4 AP Statistics: 5 The National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship recipient to study abroad in Beijing, China (Summer of '13) Intern at Metropolitan Museum in development (January-February '13) Learning is a life-long process and I have been excited to know as much as possible since I learned to read my first words. I am interested in tutoring children for this reason. It is important to experience the power of knowledge at a young age. Fostering a thirst for knowledge outside of the classroom is important to me.
