Experience in tutoring special needs students and ESL. I offer editing assistance and I am comfortable teaching any kind of student to improve their written skills using proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. Great communication skills, patience and understanding of the learning process. I love to see my students attain their goals when it comes to proper writing techniques. I am a freelance editor who knows how to do anything from write an article to sending a press release. I have a passion for English literature. I am also proficient with computers and can teach students how to use word processing programs and power-point among others. I am constantly doing research and I am able to pass on those skills. I also volunteer for several community outreach organizations dealing with issues such as housing, climate change, and civil rights issues. I have no qualms working with disinterested or underprivileged students. I will also work with any age group. I am easiest to reach for after school tutoring and weekends. My apartment is available for lessons for no extra fee. I am also willing to travel free of charge to any borough besides Staten Island.
