Experience
As an undergraduate at Tufts University, I was employed by the Academic Resource Center at Tufts University for three years as a writing tutor. In this position, I tutored at the college level in all subjects that included writing, ranging from history to religion to creative writing to English. I also tutored surrounding community elementary, middle, and high school students in writing, reading, elementary Spanish, and elementary mathematics. After moving to New York, I tutored for Tutorquest, a local tutoring service. In this position, I tutored elementary and middle school students in writing, reading, English Literature, Spanish, and mathematics. Privately, I then began tutoring students in the writing portions of college and graduate school applications. Students whom I worked with gained entrance into schools including Harvard University, Insead, Yale University, and the University of Michigan.
