Experience
I have been working as a private tutor for the last three years. I work one-on-one with students whose ages range from 3yrs to 11yrs. I develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on student strengths and needs to meet specific learning goals and help them meet or exceed grade level standards. I have 10.5 years of experience working as a classroom teacher for the NYC DOE. I have worked with students of various ages, backgrounds and abilities in the teaching of all subject areas. I also have experience working as a summer school teacher and as an after school teacher. Here I worked with students who were either struggling to meet grade level standards or who did not meet standards during the school year.
