Hi, my name is Jeff; thank you for taking a few minutes to check out my tutoring profile. I am 32 years old and have been a full time math and test prep tutor for 7 years. I am uniquely qualified to provide you with the knowledge and skills for getting the highest possible score on the GMAT, GRE, SAT, or ACT. I graduated from Washington and Lee in 2004, with a degree in history. After graduation, I became a licensed securities professional (series 7, 63, and 55), and I worked on Wall Street for 4 years. Wanting to pursue my MBA, I took the GMAT without any preparation and scored at the 20th percentile. Rather than letting that score get me down, I decided that I was going to work as long and as hard as necessary to beat the exam. After much hard work and dedication, my GMAT exam score increased to the 94th percentile! I realized that if I could bring myself to that level, I could help others reach their goals as well. Thus began my passion for tutoring, and I became a full-time tutor, specializing in GMAT, GRE, SAT, and ACT. I have since logged over 10,000 hours. I assisted in the development of a comprehensive GMAT math curriculum for a company for which I became the Director of Tutoring Services as well as head instructor for 6 years. Throughout that time, I worked with students around the world, helping them achieve their dreams of acceptance into top business schools. I have tutored math and test prep in person in Manhattan and Westchester, focusing on middle and high school math, SAT, and ACT, along with GMAT and GRE.
