I want to be a tutor because I know how difficult it can be to balance education with everything else life throws at you. I want to help students by devoting my time to them to help them learn the materials one-on-one, outside of a full classroom and I want to give them the tools to create effective and efficient study plans that they can take home and apply to every aspect of their education. Was part of National Honors Society tutoring program at my high school (Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in New Jersey) Have helped my two younger sisters with all of their coursework - math, writing, applications, standardized testing, study plans and organizational skills I have taken the SATs and the GREs and have scored in high percentiles in both.
