I want to be a tutor because I know how difficult it can be to balance education with everything else life throws at you. I want to help students by devoting my time to them to help them learn the materials one-on-one, outside of a full classroom and I want to give them the tools to create effective and efficient study plans that they can take home and apply to every aspect of their education. Was part of National Honors Society tutoring program at my high school (Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in New Jersey) Have helped my two younger sisters with all of their coursework - math, writing, applications, standardized testing, study plans and organizational skills I have taken the SATs and the GREs and have scored in high percentiles in both.

Hobbies
I love to travel. I spent two summers in college studying abroad in France and London and have taken trips to China and Africa, as well. I have also played basketball my entire life, and all four years in college. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me many skills that are applicable to every aspect of my life. I spent this past year working in finance in New York City, but am currently transitioning into the world of psychology. Because of these past experiences (and the fact that I'm one of four kids in my family), I have dealt with people of all types and backgrounds. I am pretty easy going, so I tend to get along with and can connect with everyone.
