Education
I am currently a medical student at Feinberg School of Medicine and I graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Psychology and a focus in statistics. I maintained a 3.7 GPA throughout undergrad and scored a 2330 on the SAT in high school. I love working with any kind of student and look forward to helping my students reach their full potential!
Experience
I have two years of experience as a part time assistant teacher for middle and high school students at the Harker School in San Jose. I have worked with students both one on one and in group settings, and really enjoy the teaching experience! I have tutoring experience from high school and peer tutoring experience from college. During undergrad I studied a full science curriculum (Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, and Physics) in addition to Psychology and Statistics. In high school I primarily tutored for the SAT, and scored above 750 on all three sections. I am committed to my students and will work hard to discover their weaknesses and overcome them! I focus on explaining concepts and designing problem solving strategies so that my students understand how to solve different types of problems. At the end of each session I help students create a tool kit of things they've learned to guide them in their practice between sessions. Above all I try to create a study program that fits each student individually!

In my free time I love to hike, play tennis, and generally be outdoors! I also danced on a Latin and Ballroom dance team in college and plan to continue dancing socially.
