- 2 years of experience as a French and English tutor at College level (Dutchess Community College). - French teacher in Bolivian orphanage for one month (ages between 10 and 16) - French teacher at the Brendon Montessori School for one year (ages between 2 and 11) I am a native French speaker who studies at the graduate level in NY. I believe that conversational and academic learning are complementary when learning a foreign language. As a native french speaker, I will be able to help students practice their conversational skills and to explain lessons and grammar. As a student in cultural anthropology, I also believe that learning French should be accompanied with some knowledge of the French culture. Reading works by French authors, watching French movies... are parts of the learning process. I will be glad to share such learning materials with my students.
