I do online tutoring using skype and webex. Webex is ideal for excel based or stat based tutoring because you will be able to see my screen and we can work on the same program in one screen together. Skype or google hangout is best for tutoring that involves calculations on paper. Using HD camera, you will be able to see what I write and I will then scan them over for your copy after the tutoring session. This is just as good as the one-on-one tutoring that can be done as long as you have your computer with you. Meeting up is convenient and can be done at home, office, school, starbucks, or library without the hassle of traffic, looking for parking, lost time, etc. What is crucial to learning is not the venue but the student's interest to learn and the tutor’s ability.
