Experience
I have extensive experience tutoring kids in elementary and middle school. Mostly, I have tutored in math, reading, and writing. I've tutored at after-school programs, as well as individually. I have a long history of studying literature, and also of writing papers and reports, therefore this is where my skill level is highest. I have also been very successful in tutoring kids in elementary math. I truly love tutoring, because I love to help kids improve academically. More importantly, I empower them to develop confidence and independence, so that they may succeed on their own one day. I was a substitute teacher in the public school system in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and taught a wide range of subjects.
