I seek to become your child's private tutor. I specialize in foundation building elementary level students mainly grades K-6. I cover all elementary subjects such as English, Reading, Phonics, Math, Social Studies, Science, Homework help, New York State Common Core Exam, etc. About me: As a child, I had problems in school and my family was worried I wouldn't be able to graduate from college. I used effective learning techniques as well as my driving ambition and determination to accomplish my goals. Guess what? I graduated from college. Not only that, I was awarded the Deans List and the Merit Scholarship! I will teach your child the tools and techniques I used to succeed as I have! - I have about 5 years of experience as a private tutor, teacher, camp counselor, mentor, and child supervisor. - Knowledge of First Aid and CPR. - I have a recommendation letter from one of my successful students who before was falling behind in 1st grade. With my help with after school homework and tutoring she grew. She won the "Most improved student of the month" and soon after won the "Student of the Month" award in her class. Eventually she exceeded her grade level and my mission was complete. - My primary mode of transportation is by car.
