Education
Being a German native, I completed German law school at Humboldt-University in Berlin with study periods in Paris and New York. After that, I went to Harvard Law and the Graduate Institute in Geneva focusing on International Law. I am a full-time professional working at the United Nations in political affairs. Parallel I work on my PhD on the intersection of international law and political philosophy.
Experience
I have been tutoring both university students at Humboldt in law and high school students in math, English and German in Berlin. Hence, I can help out the spectrum between those who wish to discuss German academic literature and those who are at the start of learning German to get through daily life. I am proficient in French, Portuguese and some Arabic and I am able to draw parallels, if needed. Depending on the preparation needs for classes, I look at a rate between 60 and 120 USD/hour (to explain: the higher end of the spectrum would apply, if tutoring would involve works of Kant, Nietzsche or others of this category and/or long travel distances as well as depend on the number of hours per session). In any case, I am happy to discuss.
