Mia B.

Private tutor in New York, NY

Education

Freshman Literature/Theater/Jewish Studies Major at Eugene Lang College at the New School

Experience

Although I have not spent any time as a formal tutor I have spent time helping my peers with their writing. I have spent copious amounts of time in in-class writing workshops and understand how to asses and edit writing while allowing the student to come to the solutions themselves. I have short stories and poetry published in two different literary magazines and have worked and acted in the film industry. Most importantly, I am still a student so I understand what it means to be involved in the learning process. I am constantly searching for new techniques to further my own education that, hopefully, I can pass on.
