Experience

I regularly tutor students of ages ranging from 5-20 years old in differing subjects. Most of my students have been in either grade school or middle school, but I have also tutored college students. I am adept at working with individuals who have learning disabilities or who simply respond to more "unconventional" learning styles. I received a 31 on my ACT exam and 4's on both of my English AP exams. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping others find their strengths. I find it very rewarding when my guidance helps a struggling individual to make a connection so he/she can thoroughly understand the task at hand. I hope to guide students to overcome difficult material by making use of their well honed skills. My goal is for students to learn and realize what they are able to achieve on their own. I have taken a myriad of classes on topics such as psychology, sociology, history, Hebrew, Spanish, statistics, sculpture, drawing, writing, etc. I have worked with children, teens, and adults in settings including camps, childcare, coaching, and teams.
