Experience
I am a Wellesley College graduate and Teach for America Alum who has been working as a teacher in NYC. Since early college, I have been working as a Math SAT Tutor with students of all levels. I have had a number of private students and have instructed classes of up to ten students. In all cases, my average student had an increase of 100 points from their base score. I am currently a certified High School History teacher with a Master's Degree in Special Education. My expertise is wide in variety, from Math and Study Skills to Writing and Reading Skills. IEP I have over 2 years experience working with IEP students aged 12-18 facing significant academic challenges, including students with ADD/ADHD/ED. I am also qualified in instructing self-regulating tactics and basic study skills that can transferred to the classroom. I was also a Political Science Major at Wellesley, with much of my degree and research completed at the London School of Economics. I have completed many high-level writing assignments, a Thesis and research projects at the collegiate and post-graduate level. Any additional questions about my credentials and/or is welcomed.
