I received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Bucknell University in 2011, and I just completed a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Bank Street Collge of Education.
Experience
I am embarking on my fourth year as an elementary school teacher. I work at a highly academic independent school in Manhattan where I was a third grade teacher for two years. I am very comfortable teaching Reading and Writing Workshop as well as innovative math strategies to help students gain a fluency with numbers. This year I am excited to be the lower school science teacher. I am eager to start tutoring students as I have more free time now that my master's degree is complete!
