Experience
Before coming to the U.S for my master degree, I was an ESL teacher for two years with specialty in TOEFL and GRE. To help out an American friend in China, I started to tutor him Mandarin and became quite good at it. After that, I tutored quite a few English speakers and helped them became fluent in basic Mandarin. I have taught in the Princeton Review and Wharton Business School as part-timers when I was at Penn. Right now, I am doing an unpaid internship with the United Nations Development Programme, hoping to support myself with my teaching experience.
