Experience
I have two years of experience as a writing tutor at the undergraduate and high school level; as well as experience in an instructive roll working with an undergraduate classroom. I enjoy tutoring greatly and am committed to working with students in a collaborative effort to foster and develop their own writing and editing process. My training as a tutor is highlighted by classes on tutoring theory and practice at the University of Connecticut as well as a number of seminars, observation of fellow tutors, and my personal experience with the students I have worked with. My goal is to work with a student until they have a complete command over their own writing process that they can carry with them throughout their academic and professional careers and that can render myself obsolete.
