SAT - Reading - 800 - Writing - 770 Work Experience - Around America summer tutor: My freshman summer, I taught SAT Reading and various SAT II subject tests to high school students in Shanghai, China. I had two classes of 10-12 students as well as two individual students on the weekends. While I followed the syllabus that was given by the tutoring company, I also came up with practice tests and exercises of my own for the students. Language - Native Chinese speaker; citation (4 semesters of study) from Harvard College - I can offer not only Chinese lessons, but SAT and college counseling sessions in Chinese as well As a rising senior, the SAT and college application process is fresh in my mind, so I will be able to better relate to students and prepare them for what lies ahead. I still remember what it was like studying for the SATs, writing numerous drafts of my personal statement, and practicing for interviews. I also still remember what a difficult time that was, and I want to be able to help students who are about to go through the process themselves, so that it might be a little easier for them. I have a very flexible style and would be more than happy to tailor it to each individual student's needs.
