Experience
I have volunteered at local high schools tutoring Spanish and Writing. This past Fall I tutored at Washington Irving high school, helping students write and edit their college essays. I began studying Spanish in middle school and studied abroad in Spain during high school. My senior year I was the Spanish department award recipient for the class of 2010 . More recently, I have enrolled in various high-level language courses, including Advanced Spanish Literature. I am also a current member of the Dean's Circle Scholars, where I am working on a year-long research project with a select group of students.
