BA in Physics from Rutgers University. Spent three years in the Rutgers Pharmacy program before switching out, so I became a Physical Science teacher (Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
Experience
Currently a part-time Physical Science teacher in a magnet school in Manhattan. Two years of high-school science teaching in NJ: Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Physics. Six months as a English/Math Tutor at a SAT prep/academic help center. 3 years of experience in private English and Piano tutoring, for kids of nearly every age, college kids, and an adult. I have worked with and led children, youth, and college kids in a variety of faith-based settings, and also in summer day camps in New Brunswick, and English camps in China. SAT scores - Math 700 Reading 800 Writing 690. SAT 2 scores - Math IIC 800, Physics 770. I have a Diploma in Piano Performance from the British testing agency ABRSM (which would qualify me to teach in some countries).
