Experience
First, I just want to say I love tutoring. I have done private tutoring for more than four years now, and I have taught a wide range of students: from helping middle grade students pass state level exams to aiding high school students do better on the AP Exams. I only tutor subjects I am very comfortable in. My students have found me both easy to understand and pleasant to work with, partially because I genuinely enjoy working with them. I am also very patient with students. Math is definitely one of my strong points, and I can explain a theory/concept differently each time for the certain student so he/she can best understand. Personally during high school I made a 5 on my Calculus BC Exam without even taking the course. I also scored a 780 on my SAT II Math Level II Exam. I am also familiar with biology and physics (mechanics). I made a 760 on my SAT II Biology Exam and and "A"s in my honor physics class (in college). Finally I am fluent in Chinese, and I speak, read, and write. I think I would make a great tutor for beginner - intermediate students who want to learn Chinese. Record wise I made a 5 on my Chinese AP Exam, and an 800 on my SAT II Chinese Language Exam. Again, I love tutoring and am very flexible with scheduling, so please don't hesitate to drop me a message!
