In high school, I was a National-Merit Semi-finalist. My PSAT and SAT scores enabled me to receive a full academic scholarship and to be part of my college’s honors program. I would love to help other students boost their scores in order to reach their scholastic goals. As a passionate writer, I would especially be interested in tutoring students for the verbal section of the SAT. Not only do I love all things English (including lists of polysyllabic SAT words) but I also enjoy tutoring. My work in the summer as a rotating counselor at a camp for children with disabilities afforded me the opportunity to work with and supervise children. I also led classes in the mornings for the campers which presented educational content in a fun, interactive format. The classes were a highlight of my summer and sparked my passion for education.
