I was a part of the build on program. The program would at times help children, ages 5-12, with their homework and anything else that the children needed help with. I want to become a tutor because I like helping young children better themselves in their education. In order to get the fullest of life, I believe that a person needs to get the best education that they possibly can. It makes me feel good to know that I help accomplish that. I know general things about computers, specially how to work around Microsoft Office. I am bilingual in spanish and english. I have helped my mother plan her lesson plans for the children at her day care, so I have experience in helping children with their homework.

Hobbies
In my free time, I like to read. One of my favorite books is Oedipus and Candide. I also like to volunteer at the botanical gardens. Apart from helping the children with their homework, we also paint benches and clean up messes to make it a better environment for others to enjoy. I have been told that I am a very patient and calm person, and i enjoy helping children with whatever they may need help with.
