I recently graduated from Reed College in Portland Or with a B.A. in Religious Studies. My program was focused on general humanities, with a heavy writing requirement and demanded rigorous critical thinking skills. I completed a thesis project my senior year at Reed, and have consistently received academic commendation for writing skill. Now in New York, I spend my time working on collaborative creative projects and personal creative writing. I feel that my responsibility as a writing tutor extends beyond the homework assignment or test score. I am very comfortable working with students across all disciplines & levels of expertise, and focus on helping students address the immediate assignment while also, and more importantly, preparing them for future study.
